Post-conference Learning Intensives

  • Join us for intensive, day-long learning sessions after the conference on August 16th and 17th, 2017. These classes are just the thing when you can’t fit it all into the normal 90 minute session. All workshops will run from 8am-5pm and lunch will be provided!

    The workshops offered are:

    • 2 Day Competent Person Safety Training – 08/16/2017 and 08/17/2017 for $200

    Held about a mile from our main conference website.

    Held at the Comfort Suites Conference Room, about a mile from the main conference venue.

    It is an OSHA requirement to have a “competent person” on every job site. Get that training done here!

    The training session will cover four major areas:

    – Fall Protection

    – Scaffolding (Fabricated Type, Pump Jack Type, Bracket Type)

    – General Jobsite Electrical Safety

    – Stairways and Ladders

    Attendees will be tested and certified as a “Competent Person” upon completion of the course.

    • 1 Day Volunteer Management Certification – 08/16/2017 for $100

    Volunteer Certification Intensive will take place at the Embassy Suites, Classroom Veramendi Salon C

    Brand new certification from Habitat for Humanity International!

    A training program covering 7 basic topic areas resulting in a Certificate in Volunteer Management Basics from HFHI.

    • 1 Day Mortgage Policy and Regulations Intensive – 08/16/2017 for $100
