Biography

Autumn Lotze is a Senior Resilience Specialist with SBP’s Disaster Resilience and Recovery Lab, which
partners with communities to strengthen resilience and develop solutions to address recovery barriers.
SBP is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping communities vulnerable to and impacted
by disaster, with the mission to shrink the time between disaster and recovery. Founded in 2006 in St.
Bernard Parish following Hurricane Katrina, SBP has rebuilt homes for more 1,200 families around the
country.
Prior to her role with SBP, Autumn worked with the American Red Cross National Headquarters, North
Shore Emergency Management Office and University of British Columbia, on community risk analysis,
preparedness and resilience efforts. Autumn has an MA in Disaster & Risk Management Planning from
the University of British Columbia.
