EMILY RYDER PERLMETER is the Community Development Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, where she conducts research on issues relating to consumer finance, small business and the impact of public policies on low- and moderate-income communities. She earned an MPA from New York University in 2011, concentrating in econometrics and policy analysis. Emily has previously worked for Single Stop USA, the National Council for Research on Women and the American Bar Association. Her prior areas of research include community colleges retention programs, nonprofit program evaluation, and the impact of corporate spending on democracy. She also holds a BA from the George Washington University.
