Michael Willard has worked with non-profit organizations for over 25 years, as a leader and administrator. These organizations include Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill Industries and the Boys & Girls Clubs, in addition to other groups.
He strongly believes that one of the major components of a sustainable non-profit organization is an earned-income stream. Operating a thrift store is a reliable model for generating earned-income. But it must operate efficiently and effectively to generate the income required to fund the mission.
Michael is a graduate of George Peabody College for Teachers and attained his Masters in Education from Vanderbilt University.
He is married to Dani Willard and they have four children.
